Position Overview:
Commis II (Hot Section) is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of hot dishes while ensuring consistency, quality, hygiene, and smooth kitchen operations. This role works closely with the kitchen team to maintain food standards and support daily service operations in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in kitchen operations, preferably in hot section within hospitality or F&B industry
• Diploma or relevant educational background in Culinary Arts or Hospitality is preferred
• Good knowledge of hot kitchen preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
• Familiar with food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation procedures
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment and work efficiently during busy service periods
• Able to follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen SOP consistently
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate well with kitchen and service team
• Able to multitask and maintain consistency under pressure
• Basic English communication skills preferred
• Passionate, disciplined, and willing to learn and grow within the culinary team
