Position Overview:
Bar Captain is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations at La Plancha, ensuring high-quality beverage service, consistent standards, and smooth team coordination. This role supports the Bar Supervisor/Manager in maintaining service excellence, managing staff on shift, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in bar operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or captain role
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage preparation standards
Ability to lead and supervise bar staff during service, ensuring efficiency and consistency
Hands-on experience in managing bar setup, stock levels, and daily operations
Strong understanding of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
Ability to handle guest interactions, feedback, and complaints professionally
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
