Position Overview:
Bar Captain is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations at La Casa Del Habano, ensuring high-quality beverage service, consistent standards, and smooth team coordination. This role supports the Venue Manager in maintaining service excellence, managing staff on shift, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in bar operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or captain role
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage preparation standards
- Ability to lead and supervise bar staff during service, ensuring efficiency and consistency
- Hands-on experience in managing bar setup, stock levels, and daily operations
- Strong understanding of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Ability to handle guest interactions, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to work in a intimate environment setting and able to give personalized service
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
