Beach Clean-Up & 15th Anniversary Celebration of La Plancha

On the bright morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, a meaningful beach clean-up brought together teams from Pelangi Hotel Seminyak and Puri Saron Seminyak in celebration of La Plancha’s 15th anniversary.
Held at La Plancha Beach Front to Arjuna Disaster Shelter Seminyak, the beach clean up began at 8:00 AM with 30 enthusiastic participants, dressed in pink (Pelangi Hotel) and yellow (Puri Saron). The clean-up fostered not only environmental care but also team spirit, connection, and shared purpose.
Over the course of one hour, the group collected 11 bags of trash, totaling 11 kilograms. The collected waste was sorted into five main categories, with the following distribution:
- Plastic bottles – 25%
- Food wrappers – 25%
- Cigarette butts – 20%
- Plastic straws – 15%
- Other waste (foam, plastic bags, miscellaneous plastic) – 15%
After the clean-up, participants enjoyed free refreshments, exchanged stories, and reflected on the importance of small actions that lead to big change. This collaborative initiative highlighted how tourism, hospitality, and community can work hand in hand to protect Bali’s beautiful coastline.
