Bali Beach Clean-Up & Talkshow by LYD Community
- La Brisa
- June 7th, 2025
On the morning of Saturday, June 7, 2025, the LYD Community together with several
hospitality groups in Bali held a Beach Clean-Up activity along a 2-kilometer stretch from
Echo Beach (La Brisa Beachfront) to the Pererenan statue. The event brought together
over 60 participants from various companies and community groups, including Shore
Amora Canggu, The Akasha, Salt Villa, Ecozy Dijiwa, and others.
The program began at 7:00 AM with QR code registration, followed by the clean-up session until 8:00 AM. In just under an hour, the participants successfully collected 37 kg of waste, dominated by plastic bottles (30%), food wrappers (23%), and cigarette butts (18%). A total of 23 trash bags, 14 trash sticks, and 40 gloves were used during the clean-up, showing a strong commitment to environmental care.

Following the clean-up, the event continued with a talkshow under the theme “Community Movement & Environmental Awareness,” which was opened with welcoming remarks by Mrs. Rosana Meldawati, Director of HR at LYD Group. The session was moderated by Stefano Hanteno from LYD Community and featured three inspiring speakers:
- Prima Hartawan (Co-Founder of Canggu Hospitality Association / GM Shore Amora Canggu)
- Ms. Mitha Marlina (Group Marketing Manager, Ini Vie Hospitality)
- Ms. Gratika (Director of Marketing, Ini Vie Hospitality / Member of Minutes of Manager Bali)

They discussed the importance of collective action in environmental responsibility, the value of hospitality communities driving sustainable change, and how the principles of Tri Hita
Karana—harmony between people, nature, and spirit—can be woven into both industry practices and everyday life.
