LYD Running Club Kicks Off First Community Run at La Plancha

Seminyak, Bali — The running community spirit in Bali is buzzing again. LYD Running Club officially held its first Community Run on Friday, September 18, 2026, at La Plancha, Seminyak. The event, built around a relaxed, no-competition concept, drew strong enthusiasm from running lovers across the Seminyak–Kuta area, with 70 participants in attendance.
Runners Flock to La Plancha
Several well-known running communities joined in, including:
- Seminyak Running Buddies
- Koe Runners
- Ocean He-Run
- As well as individuals and groups of friends running together
Runners took on the 5km route from La Plancha to Kuta Skate Park and back, with the option to run along the beach, Beachwalk, or nearby sidewalks.
Casual Run, Still Competitive for the Speedsters
Despite its “not a race, no pressure” spirit, the event still made room for runners chasing a fast time through a Sub-30 minute category. Here are the winners:
Main Winners:
1st Place — Fluro powerbank, Ocean Run jersey, dinner voucher at Pelangi Hotel Seminyak, medal, and Sub-30 certificate
2nd Place — Fluro powerbank, Ocean Run jersey, medal, and certificate
3rd Place — Fluro powerbank, medal, and certificate
Sub-30 Honorable Mentions:
Three other runners also received medals and certificates in recognition of their achievement.
