Demi Chef de Partie

Position Purpose:

The Demi CDP will work under the guidance of the sous chef or head chef and will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen. Support the CDP in the running of a specific section and to lead the section in the absence of the CDP. Help maintain the levels of service delivery set out by the company standards and demonstrate an attitude and passion that consistently exceeds the expectations of our standard. This role requires culinary expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary diploma or relevant culinary certification.
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing kitchen needs.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Medium level of Oral English, minimum level of written in English
  • Familiar with maintenance and operating of kitchen equipment
  • Fire prevention and safety knowledge
  • Required to delegating tasks and solve problems related to their areas and receive or issue instructions to other managerial staff.
  • Basic computer knowledge
