Ecological farming is more than cultivating the fields, it is a way of understanding life in a different way. If we want our planet to be inhabitable and able to feed its entire population, we have to start taking care of the environment that makes our existence possible.

This is the priority of the birth of our company, LYD ORGANIC, to produce vegetables in a way that helps to preserve the environment. We are proud to introduce our selection of farm to fork vegetables that we invite you to enjoy in our daily menu!

The use of pesticides, herbicides is totally ruled out in our fields. It is more difficult and expensive but by working with care and effort, we can clean our fields and keep them in perfect condition for cultivation, thus avoiding the use of chemical products.

Another important aspect of our company is the production of our own plant material to make the compost or fertilizer that we will later use to fertilize the plants.

All the vegetable remains produced by our restaurants, are collected and taken to our field, where we have a space enabled for this purpose. Any vegetable remains and egg shells are the base of our compost, as well as plant materials used for cleaning the fields and the remains of ash.

For the care of the plants and the fight against pests of mosquitoes, insects or worms are used, just how our ancestors used them centuries ago. The use of used butts that we collect in our restaurants, allows us to obtain an effective system to fight against many of the animals that habitually attack vegetables.

Moreover, the placement of traps within our crops helps us a lot in the fight against different pests; the vinegar, the wine fermented together with the sugar is perfect for these burdens. Additionally, we use copper and sulfur, which are products of nature, for the fight against fungus.

The last tool that we use in great quantity and that is allowing us to make our ecological agriculture project viable, is to apply a lot of love and great care in our work.
